Midtown Mambo

   Midtown Mambo captures the energy and vitality of Midtown Manhattan. The buildings (including the Con Edison, the Empire State, the Chrysler, and the Citicorp buildings) lean and sway to reflect the rhythms of daily life in the city. Active workers (and one on a pizza break) grace the rooftops while the passing clouds and chimney smoke above share the same dance. The clock on the tower says nearly 1:00 (AM perhaps?). Is this the night shift, or is the moon just visible on this windy day? Or, maybe the clock is broken! Well, timelessness befits the city that never sleeps!
