Downtown

   Downtown is a playful portrait of daily life in New York City. While it doesn't depict an actual street, the Brooklyn Bridge establishes its downtown location. Residents work, play, walk their dogs, enjoy the day. It was Sept. 11, 2001 that inspired my inclusion of the firehouse and firetruck, wanting to place them in the context of resilient people moving forward with their lives in this very special city.
